State Representatives

The National Association of Charitable Recycling Organisations (NACRO) is a membership based industry association representing charitable recycling organisations throughout Australia. It is the peak body that represents the industry’s interests to regulators, legislators, the media, and the public.

Above all NACRO provides an industry network where members can benefit from each other
and we promote the industry to the community, and government instrumentalities at all levels to ensure that the industry is given consideration as required. Many issues are dictated by state legislation and thus specific state issues are managed by State Councils, contact for which follow.

State Representative Guidelines

The role of NACRO is to provide an industry wide forum for the betterment of charitable recycling in Australia. State Representatives must be committed to furthering the objects of NACRO and is an honorary position. Amongst the responsibilities, the role requires attending National Executive Meetings to represent the interests of their state members and to report back to state members the outcomes of meetings.
